I’ve gotten used to interviewing big names, but this is the first time when I had to deal with being starstruck on a personal level. I’ve been a Jars of Clay patron for the better part of 17 years. What a challenge! What made it extra tough was that we were given a shorter time than usual, so I wasn’t able to pull as hard as I like to. Nonetheless, in the few minutes we had with Jars of Clay, they were able to convey a lot — magazine-cover-article level of ideas and information. They’re really smart, sharp guys. And funny too!
We got to talk about their musical evolution, favorite books, the creative process, and how charity work in their AIDS & freshwater wells foundation (www.bloodwatermission.com) has impacted their own lives.
Look forward to posts about Jars later today at client site www.fullybookedonline.com and right here at Honeycomb Communities later this week.
